Point of Sale Overview

    Follow

The Point of Sale view is where you will come to configure all devices that are capable of creating transactions for your program.

This view is broken down into several parts:

    TERMINALS

The terminals view displays all of the terminals (a.k.a. credit card machines) that you have configured for your program.

    Terminals can be:

    • Added, by providing a 6-digit PIN to a new program terminal.
    • Edited, to change menu and layout profiles.
    • Suspended, to disable their ability to perform transactions.
    • Disassociated, to move the terminal from one location to another.

    VIRTUAL TERMINALS

The Virtual Terminals view displays all of the configured Web Virtual terminals for your program. You may only have one Virtual Terminal configured per configured location; however, you may access the Virtual Terminal on as many computers as desired.

    Virtual Terminals can be:

    • Added, one per configured location (if all locations are configured with a Virtual Terminal, the option to add Virtual Terminals will not be visible).
    • Accessed, to launch a new instance of the Web Virtual Terminal.
    • Edited, to change menu and layout profiles.
    • Suspended, to disable their ability to perform transactions.

    APPS

The Apps view displays all of the third party application instances configured for your program.

    PREFERENCES

The Preferences view allows you to configure Receipt and Menu profiles. Within Preferences you can identify Clerks.
